Hello everyone! Looking forward to some great conversation! Just for everyone to understand my view of scripture, I'm a fundamental Baptist. We believe in the literal interpretation of scripture, until it becomes obvious it's figurative. For example, Christ said, "you are the salt of the earth," obviously that is figurative. When John said, "1000 years" we believe in a literal 1000 years. So this should give you an idea of where I stand with scripture. I hope your new site takes off and we can all have some interesting conversations! Thanks for joining charlie and I look forward to your posts on the forum. |

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who joined the forum you are much appreciated. You were all invited because I know you from other forums and have appreciated your posts and the respectful ways you interact with others. This isn't " my forum " its your forum to enjoy, participate, share your stories, and to enjoy exchanging your thoughts and ideas with others. My hope and prayer is it will be one that iron sharpens iron and we are all built up together in the faith. I'm actually a bit overwhelmed if I'm being honest from all the positive responses we have received back from you. And if you have any suggestions on how to improve our forum please do not hesitate to let us know those suggestions. If you would like to see another forum category let us know that as well. My desire is for this place to be different from the other forums and that is up to all of its members in the community. Thank you !

How did that happen in light of 1 Corinthians 7:28? “But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.” My marriage is perfectly described in Ecclesiastes: “A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” LOL! |
