Wow Doug! How did that happen in light of 1 Corinthians 7:28? “But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.” My marriage is perfectly described in Ecclesiastes: “A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” LOL! I never said there was a lack of trouble, she is just worth it! Doug Amen worth 100 times the trouble . |

I'm to the south of you, out in Dayton. Lived in Carson Valley for 22 years, then moved to Carson City for a couple years, now we're out off 50. My wife and I have been here for 30 years now, as of this past weekend. |

Hello. I'm known as OldShepherd at CARM and DerAlte at Christian Forums. I Joined CF late '89 or early '90. under the original owner. Erwin Loh Was asked personally by him to be a mod. was a md for over 5 years promoted to Senior Mod. then 1 day I was notified that I did not have enough time to spend so I was being stepped down. News to me I spent 6-8 hours on the board every day, I was working in Korea and had no American TV. I locked horns with a certain faction there and was banned for a few years. I joined CARM after I was banned at CF. I am seminary trained ordained pastor working as volunteer associate pastor of a Korean language presbyterian church. Miss you brother hope to see you soon. |

I'm happy to have found this forum. I heard about it on Soteriology 101 on facebook. There are some good posters on that site who recommended it so I was lurking for a while and reading the material and decided to join.
