A conversation with the platform provider is in order. Editing or deleting text from a quote box should not erase the space for reply. That seems to be the single greatest problem. There are scores of threads in which posters' html tags or quote boxes are all messed up and everyone has had to adapt, resulting in a lot of inconsistent formatting between posters.
The ability to use the html tags for indenting would be nice.
A search feature would be nice, too. Better set of emojis (borrow Worthy's or CARM's ). One thing I do like about the platform is that it removes all formatting from copy-and-pasted content, so we're able to either add our own or leave it as is. I also agree with Obadiah and I find most here have already made positive adjustments in previous patterns. BAM's been like a restart for many.

Thanks @josheb. I'm not the technical guy but he( the technical-admin) will do his best within his abilities to make those adjustments if it is possible with this " free " internet forum software. Maybe an upgrade will be coming to a forum near you soon

Thanks @josheb . I'm not the technical guy but he( the technical-admin) will do his best within his abilities to make those adjustments if it is possible with this " free " internet forum software. Maybe an upgrade will be coming to a forum near you soon If you decide to do it, I can assist moving to another platform. I've moved several across multiple offerings. All of them have their issues. Xenforo (What CARM uses) is very good but it depends on what "skin/theme" you use. This format isn't that bad. I've seen much worse. For free.... it is good. If you use "ads", you might be able to make enough to pay for Xenforo. There are other options. MyBB is about as good a free forum software that exists but you have to host it yourself. vBulletin (what CARM used for many years) is still good. Less expensive than Xenforo. Xenforo was started by former vBulletin programmers.

I think it`s gone pretty decently. The admins habit of erasing posts he doesn`t like is a pretty strong deterent much as I dislike it when he`s done it to me. LOL! I used to do the same thing when I had my Yahoo groups years ago. I didn`t like kicking people out and often find the tension of having critics around useful. You have to have opposing points of view to learn things imo.

#1. The forum has to eventually look like the other big Christian forums in appearance if it has a chance of succeeding. (a) Professional Logo with clever slogan (Hire a logo professional). (b) Cool website design (Consider hiring a website designer). (c) Make sure you use Xenforo or VBulletin. (d) Outreach to Non-Bible Alone Adherents (Catholics, JW’s, Mormons, etcetera). (e) Pop up window must be displayed to any of these other groups before posting as a warning to post in the appropriate section. If any violations are made, the post or thread will be first moved with a warning. Three strikes (warnings on this), and your out - Account banned for 1 month. (f) YouTube videos on how to use the forum. (g) Media section. (f) Detailed Statement of Faith. This should be extremely extensive and should be a requirement. View on God, the Bible, the devil, End Times, etcetera. A link at the bottom of each of the posts or to the side will be available to all to check out a person’s statement of faith. This should be clearly visible to all users to see and access. (h) Search (No preventing of searches on a person) or no preventing of privacy to a person’s profile involving their statement of faith. A person’s personal details can of course be private but a statement of faith (in great detail should be a must). Find a person’s posts and threads option should be easy to find from a person’s profile. #2. Advertising is also another key to success. I know time and money is a factor in these two things. #3. Don’t discourage people from posting their views even if it is something you disagree with. Just create another section to move that idea if you feel it is something that is not appropriate. For example: I moved away from ChristianForums.com because they censored my defense of the King James Bible as being the pure Word of God for today. It was my passionate defense of that topic that lead to the censorship (lack of freedom of speech on that topic). Granted, there are some views that are exceptionally wrong, and should not be promoted like the promotion of sins, etcetera. That can be censored. But in a debate, like those who believe in Hyper Grace, the thread should stand as long as their is opposition by other believers who refute their false promotion or extremely wrong agenda. #4. Find a way to beat the other guys. Create something unique that the other forums are not offering or think of ways how you can improve upon what they have done. #5. One thing that is frustrating is a person spamming a thread section who is a false accuser or who is extremely hateful. I have seen this on ChristianityBoard. While freedom of speech is a good thing to a degree, when it comes to those who come off as hateful or who falsely accuse, it’s simply not good, either. So while there should be some freedom of speech, it should not allow for one to be unloving.

#6. Verses highlighted automatically to read on the forum (Provide multiple versions if possible). #7. Create a new clever quick two word domain. A .com domain would be best. I have given a list of possibilities to the creator of this site. People like simple and easy to remember names. No dashes or complicated words to remember. If domain helps your keyword search on Google, the better. Consider also to heavily promote on DuckGoGo as well (Seeing Google has been in the Christian censorship business lately). #8. Consider a moderator team that is fair. If there is a report, at least two should verify the issue so as to agree. Two moderators should read the thread carefully and pray over the issue to make a correct judgment. If the issue is too difficult to figure out, then erase the content provided and notify the users that a judgment at this time has not been made to favor one side or the other but encourage the users to be more friendly and loving. Example of what a detailed Statement of Faith should look like on a profile. Note: This statement of faith should be a required field when signing up. Here is an example of my statement of faith at Christian Forums. www.christianforums.com/threads/what-is-your-statement-of-faith.7903197/This should be directly available to see in my profile next to my Avatar. Avatar should also be encouraged because many people are visual. A person’s view on sin. Do they believe as Jesus did in Matthew 5:28-30 on how sin can destroy our souls? Or do they have a different view? This will eliminate any false accusations made by a poster making a wrong assumption. Pop up messages should encourage the reader to read their statement of faith before replying to a person. This will help with a lot of misunderstandings from happening in the first place. This is why it is important to have a statement of faith to begin with that is extremely detailed (When signing up). #9. A person can post their YouTube Channel if they are Bible Alone and after they have contributed a certain number of posts to the forum. #10 A forum statement of Faith. #11. An excellent Media (Picture upload section).

#12. Popular Non-Bible Alone Type Religions Refuted by the Forum Itself. #13. Christian Training Essentials (Trusting in His grace, and how to live in the Sanctification of the Spirit). #14. Continue in my Word (i.e. The teaching of how we need to keep abiding in the Word and renewing our minds with the truth). #15. Love Series. Love God, love the brethren, love your enemies, etcetera. (Ways to help preach the gospel, and the word, and to help the poor, etcetera).

#16. Forum should have in-depth article type threads showing biblically how certain Non-Bible Alone religions are false (like Catholicism, JW’s, Mormons, SDA’s, etcetera).

I have not been here for awhile.. Have the made it so we can separate posts into quotes yet to respond to different points? In other chatrooms you can seperate comments bu inserting Quote - /quote to isolate the comments your responding to.

Having the posts numbered would greatly help, especially, when keeping track of multiple posts throughout many pages, then forgetting the location of a particular post. Otherwise, works fine.
