1. “Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Matthew 24:42-44

Therefore stay awake – for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning – lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.” Mark 13:32-37

9. “Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and late rains. The word imminent means its likely to happen at any moment;that it is impending and could happen at any time. When we are discussing the imminent return of Christ’s it means that He could come back at any moment. There is nothing more in biblical prophecy that needs to happen before Jesus comes again and the teaching throughout the N.T. is that believers should be ready and be anticipating His return for He will come at an hour least expected like a thief in the night.
hope this helps !!!
