Jesus said the baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is my Savior and Lord and I follow Him. No, you parrot Jesus' words instead of doing what he told you to do. If your boss told you to go and do a particular thing and you just parroted his words back to him, you would be canned on the spot. Jesus said for you to baptize in the name of the son, and you refuse to say the name of the son. Why don't you do it like Peter did in Acts 2:38? Maybe he knew something you do not? Could it be that Peter knew the actual name of the son was Jesus per some revelation? Does Christendom need a revelation from God or an angel to appear to them to reveal to them the son's name is Jesus? Probably. Christ is God so I listen to Him.

Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ saves. It remits sins. Remission of sins, saves. you know i took time out use scriptures ask you explain 2 very important doctrines that are a must in the plan of salvation.. ALL you can do is give me a petty reply. i have serious doubts you even have a clue. it makes me wonder if your not a denomination robot . i noticed your reply about peter knowing... peter had to learn things the hard way. the school of hard knocks !!! like all of us he had lots of things wrong ..but Christ and others schooled him. it appears there are many things you need to learn.. tell ya what when you explain justification by grace by faith and by the blood.. while your studying it out might i suggest you note water baptism is not mentioned . untill you can answer my questions we are done... I am not a robot, but invited on this platform from Christian Forums. If you want scripture, here are a couple to struggle with.... 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,.... The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us...

I just don't think that any part of God humbled Himself to satan and wicked men. Christendom teaches the "humble God" theory. I think the man Christ Jesus, the last Adam, the redo of the first Adam, the wilfully sinless man humbled himself to satan and wicked men, then was awarded omnipresence, made a quickening spirit and fully indwelled by all of what his God consists of bodily. This makes Jesus, the individual of a man, God by default. Thomas figured that out after seeing Jesus resurrected. I don't doubt Thomas.

Jesus said this from heaven...
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Someone please explain this if possible.
Thanks.

Reading that as a stand alone verse you might conclude Christ is not God. And reading John 20:28 alone you might think the Father is not God.
hope this helps !!!

water baptism has never saved Justification is the very act of being forgiven declared righteous Just as if we had never sinned read romans 4:25 5:16 &18 justified by grace
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. romans 5:9
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
0For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!…
Justification [N] [E] Justification is the declaring of a person to be just or righteous. It is a legal term signifying acquittal, a fact that makes it unpalatable to many in our day. We tend to distrust legalism and thus we dismiss anything that savors of a legalistic approach. We should be clear that our hesitation was not shared by the biblical writers. In their day it was axiomatic that a wealthy and important citizen would not be treated in a law court in the same way as an insignificant person. Indeed this was sometimes written into the statutes and, for example, in the ancient Code of Hammurabi it is laid down that if a citizen knocked out the tooth of another citizen his own tooth should be knocked out. But if the victim was a vassal it sufficed to pay a small fine. Nobody expected strict justice in human tribunals but the biblical writers were sure that God is a God of justice. Throughout the Bible justice is a category of fundamental importance.
if you would study it out you would find your error adding water baptism for salvation takes the death burial and resurrections away

Again, please explain to me if you agree with Jesus saying from heaven(or don't agree), that he has a God, 4 times in a single verse. If you cannot explain this, then your belief system is contary to the Apostles. It came from elsewhere.

This in no way makes Him not God. There are many passages where the Father calls Him God and the Apostles and Prophets call Him God.

Does anyone believe this is grace?...
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Or, does anyone believe it is Law?

Did Jesus describe God as man here?... 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. If you were the woman that Jesus was speaking to in his description of God, would you have told him, "no, God is also a man"?

Another question:
Who is good here, described by Jesus?....
[18] And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
God or Jesus?

If these verses distress you in any way your belief system needs an overhaul to reconcile yourself to the verses.
I know...... I had to myself.

You are an official Acts skipper, desperately needing this quick lesson... no i have not skipped any thing ...i just dont need a you tube video to speak for me have you skipped the great commission Matthew 28:16-20 New King James Version The Great Commission 16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. New King James Version
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. which came fist Jesus or the book of acts. why is it you skipped our discussion about justification your ignoring the point saved by grace through faith not of works lest any man boast. baptism is a work that follows salvation... BUT if you insist in cherry picking scriptures be my guest ....
