Is obeying Acts 2:38 "work based baptism salvation"?. Yes or no? 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves.... Peter was requiring them to accept the Baptism that they rejected from John. Remember what John preached? They rejected it. They cried "away with such a man as this"..... It was proof of their acceptance. No, John did not baptize in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. John was stuck in the OT. Peter was baptizing per the NT. Every one of you should too.... ...be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins... Not just them, but YOU!

Right about now is the time to think about this:
June 25 - Be Kind and Encouraging
It [Love] is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. 1 Corinthians 13:5-13
I have learned that one of the secrets to my own personal peace is letting people be who God made them to be, rather than trying to make them be who I would like them to be. I do my best to enjoy their strengths and be merciful toward their weaknesses because I have plenty of my own. I don’t need to try to take the speck out of their eye while I have a telephone pole in my own.
A woman I know was widowed not long ago, and she was telling me about her relationship with her husband. This woman is pretty strong-willed and likes things to go her way. She told me that when she was first married, she noticed a lot of things about her husband that annoyed her. Like any good wife, she told her husband about his annoying traits and habits so he could change.
Gradually it dawned on her that although she was very good about telling her husband all the things about him that needed to change, he never returned the favor! As she wondered why, she realized that somewhere along the line her husband had made a decision not to look at—or for—her flaws. He knew she had plenty! But he wasn’t going to focus on them. It occurred to her that she could continue to point out all his annoying traits—or she could choose not to, just as her husband had done.
At the end of our conversation, she told me that in the twelve years they were married, her husband never said an unkind word to her. I think we can all take a lesson from that.
Trust in Him Ask God to help you be kind to everyone. Don’t say an unkind word today—focus on the strengths of the people you come in contact with, and do all that you can to encourage them.

By all means, prove your claim from the Scriptures. If you say God exists outside of time, then you can quantify God. There is never a situation wherein time ceases to exist. Time is nothing more than a absolute sequence of endless events. For example, God creates. There is never a time/sequence wherein God didn't "cause" what He created. Without "time" there is nothing but chaos and silly imaginations. God is not subject to time. He created time. Here is an example of what God witnessed over 1000 years before it happened..... Psalm 22 King James Version 22 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? 2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. 3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. 4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. 5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded. 6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. 7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 8 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. 9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. 10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly. 11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. 12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. 13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion. 14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. 15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. 16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. 18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. Just HOW does that establish that God is not time? You haven't explaned anything. All you've done is referenced things that God BROUGHT TO PASS.... After all. Nothing is too difficult for God.

Show me where he required such from any others. You can't. Peter was addressing those that stood before him that day. John Preached CHRIST..... Read your Bible.... Mar 1:7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. What was different about the action of baptism? NOTHING!!!! John gave WAY to Christ and disciples.....

Baptism is a ritual similar to communion. The idea that Baptism saves is similar to the Catholic teaching of Transubstantiation. It is the fleshly desire to find significance in " works of righteousness". In the good ol days of Peter etc in Acts, baptism used to be a command. Now anti-baptism is commanded. Now it is called a "ritual". What happened? The RCC ended Acts 2:38, then the protestants abolished baptism entirely as her rebellious daughters. Baptism has always been a ritual among the Jews. They knew what John was telling them. They understood what Jesus and His disciples were preaching. One of the first things built in any Jewish settlement was a "Mikveh". You do greatly error not know the Scriptures. You need to study more. Maybe pay attention to Jewish history and the Mishnah.

To me personally baptism is an external display of an internal conviction. Everyone I know that has been baptized were saved before the baptismal ceremony. Just saying. Baptism in Acts. Early Christians baptized converts to the faith to signal their entrance and initiation into the Christian community (e.g., Acts 2:38–41; 8:4–13, 34–38; 9:17–19; 10:44–48; 16:11–15, 25–34). Baptism seems to have been associated with repentance, forgiveness of sins, and the bestowal of the Holy Spirit, but not in any sort of systematic way. For instance, in Acts, the Holy Spirit is sometimes given concurrently with baptism (Acts 2:38–41), sometimes before baptism (Acts 10:44–48), and sometimes after baptism (Acts 8:4–17). The connection between baptism and the Holy Spirit seems to trace back to John’s promise that though he baptized with water, Christ would baptize with the Holy Spirit (Matt 3:11; Mark 1:8; Luke 3:16; John 1:29–34; Eugene R. Schlesinger, “Sacraments,” ed. John D. Barry et al., The Lexham Bible Dictionary Baptism is a burial per Romans 6. Those that are "saved" before baptism are buried alive. Wow. Then you weren't buried very long...... It is symbolic of death. A death that once destroyed this world. Paul said that all of those that in Israel was "baptized" in the cloud.... 1Co 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; There are many that fell in the wilderness after "go through the ritual"....... There many go along for the ride...... Many of those never make it. They did for all the wrong reasons. This life is a discerner of our motives.

If you're not saved you're not alive you are spiritually dead. Our old body of sin Is what dies. Because it Is what is being talked about in the saving truths of the gospel—the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Our old man along with our sin nature is what dies. Our new man our resurrected man is what lives for Christ in newness of life. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are BURIED with him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.—Rom 6:3–5.

You're appealing to English grammar to establish a truth? Really? How long have you been a theologian? The "in" here isn't a reference to "INSIDE"..... Think.... "in my name".... This is an extraordinarily reckless application of "in". "In = through" Besides what did Phillip see? Did he see "INSIDE" Christ? Joh 14:9 Jesus replied, “Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me, Philip? The person who has seen me has seen the Father! How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? I speak English, so yes, I believe the English in my Bible. Here is another example of English grammar that irks you.... .... but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. You shouldn't blindly accept any English you find your Bible. Men translated them. Not God. You're praising men not God. The "Father dwelling in me" doesn't "irk" me at all. Was the Father "confined" within Christ? You need to explain this fascination you have with English words and "in". I asked you a question. A question you ignored. If Thomas saw the Father in Jesus, then how could what you say possibly be true? It can't. Your stating false doctrine.

We have a modern church and an ancient church with differing commands? Will God buy that?

Christendom simply does not believe God dwells in Jesus Christ, no matter how the scriptures say it.
They are mentally blinded by the RCC.
Christendom is blinded by "the force".
