If you believe this, then it's easy to make the jump into believing that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality, even though God called it an abomination (Leviticus 18:22).

Call me a Bible thumper but if the Bible says it I believe it.
I like the Chicago Statement on Inerrancy, which was written by a group of scholars in the 1970s to give Christians language to express their belief in the Bible’s truth. Here’s is part of the Statement’s introduction that define “inerrancy”:
From Article II: “Holy Scripture, being God’s own Word, written by men prepared and superintended by His Spirit, is of infallible divine authority in all matters upon which it touches: it is to be believed, as God’s instruction, in all that it affirms; obeyed, as God’s command, in all that it requires; embraced, as God’s pledge, in all that it promises.”
From Article IV: “Being wholly and verbally God-given, Scripture is without error or fault in all its teaching, no less in what it states about God’s acts in creation, about the events of world history, and about its own literary origins under God, than in its witness to God’s saving grace in individual lives.”
As soon as the scriptures are being twist around by any group of people the foundation for a cult has been laid.

I`m not sure how you could believe in Jesus without accepting the testimony of His disciples who put their lives at great risk to affirm Him as the Christ.

GOD Spoke. He said His Words to us, to get us out. Israel did not listen, did not want to get out of egypt (and here we are still in egypt!)
after Israel got cursed for this, He didn't talk to them, making vulnerable the situation such that whatever 'writers' came after, in fact, caused to be corrupted His words, on purpose. The master example is the sorcery text called KJV of which many corrupt versions came from...

The master example is the sorcery text called KJV of which many corrupt versions came from... Why do you refer to the KJV as "the sorcery text"? I'm shorthanding much here... just to be concise okay...
once the OT fathers disobeyed, and from that, got cursed.. could not anymore hear Him...
by their own disobedience to Him, it was then esau ( I use the term here as archetype for pharisees and corrupted type souls who began to be among those writing down the words, to steer that)
the intentional corruption could begin... we can see that today.. the many battling versions (all on purpose by satan!)
christians deferring to bible scholars... and experts and pastors... these 'getting in between' the soul and God (exactly what many saw to be wrong with Rome)
as to KJV
It's documented that John Dee, a known sorcerer type of that period was friends with the queen, and advised on the KJV project...
he oversaw all the first edition art, filled with masonic(=demonic) art and handshakes.
I also said some here
Ofcourse it is wrong to change one word of what God says to us ... and that is what esau does... to try and keep us from going Home...
I thank you for replying to me

Are other versions of the Bible that much different than KJV (keeping in mind the language they used in 1611 is not the same that we use today)?

Can I twaek that a little so say there are statements in the Bible that are untrue but they are there by Gpd's design to show a co-occurring or underlying truth? Furthermore, many biases or falsehoods are ready into scripture because of a lack of proper exegesis. For example, when Solomon writes life is meaningless, that statement is factually incorrect. However, when read in the context of the smartest, wealthiest man alive who had everything (temporal) he could have ever wanted and still finding it insufficient the statement has profound truth. Likewise, when Paul departs from the Spirit's inspiration and offers his own personal views on marriage are wrong. When understood in the two contexts of the cultural mandate and the pending destruction of Israel and the persecution of Christians, profound truth underlies his statements. Spiritual liberals and conservative eisegetes often err in these regards.

If a translation says it? It may be misleading to believe it at times. If translations were all as good as some wish they were? We would not need a few good pastors who understand how to exegete the Word of God. Not every one wants to know with accuracy what the Word of God says. They simply want "something to believe." If a translation sits well with their own personal bias? The person reading that passage will not be knowing what the Word of God actually says to believe it. But, "they will believe it." 2 Timothy 4:3, tells us that, that problem with personal bias will be with us until the Rapture. For the time will come when they will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear."If I find a good teacher and learn what the Bible is saying? Then I can believe it. I am fascinated when people who take the position of... "If the Bible says it I believe it." When after they are shown a translation correction? That is when we find out if they mean what they say. Some will gladly believe it when corrected. Yet, some find ways to refuse not being able to admit it when they were proven wrong. In the mean while.. Life goes on seeking a place to call home.

Christians use the word heresy to refer to anyone who doesn’t agree with their particular version of Christianity. The word heretic usually means that you aren’t in the club, but it’s not the sort of club you would want to be in anyway. Jesus was considered a heretic by the clergy of His day ... ie they had made it a "club" and He said no ... God is available to all .... one does not have to be a member of a "club". We should study the bible ... and yes there are different interpretations about some things ... really I think it best .. to look at the original Greek and Hebrew ... without actually knowing these languages the best one can do is consult the Greek and Hebrew lexicons. Indeed His word is truth ... no question about that .... are some of the translations bias .... sometimes ... some more than others. The acceptance of sinful practices stem more so from interpretations of scripture rather than from translation of His Word into other languages. We must look at the whole of scripture and let the bible interprete itself. Isaiah 28:10 King James Bible For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Berean Study Bible For they hear: “Order on order, order on order, line on line, line on line; a little here, a little there.” Isaish 1:18 King James Bible Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. We are to reason together using scripture.

As Spirit-filled followers of Jesus, we see ourselves as precious but peculiar people who are pilgrims just passing through—not encumbered by the weights of worldly expectations, but on our way to heaven. As we journey for Jesus, we want our simple life to point others to our Savior. That's what I'm talkin about.

Indeed heaven is our home .... not earth.
Philippians 3:20-21 ESV
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
Psalm 119:19 ESV
I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not your commandments from me!
