Hello Christians, verily your heart is in the right place. After all you only want to do good right? But....there be none as judgemental or as uncomprimesing. But at least all you good people do try.
Have you studied on Osiris and how he died and rose up again as something better than before? It happened 3,000 years before the carpenter. Have you read the 4 banned gospels? Do you know about the Essenes? I'd love for any or all of you to visit with us Wiccans to discuss this and more. These days you can no longer burn us as heretics. lol
Peace and a sincere blessing to you all.

Actually, Christians believe we still have the sin nature even after salvation.
So that's not quite how it works.
Defining what good is—well that is another matter entirely that is not so simple.

Friend dizerner2 we all instinctively know the difference between good and evil. It need not be taught or forced down our throats with thou shalts or thou shalt nots.

What we instinctively do—is presume we know, feel we know, want to know, hope we know, arrogantly assure ourselves we know.
But that was the first sin—not relying on God for knowledge, and looking instead to our own pride.

Why would we not when your God supposedly made us in his image?

Why would we not when your God supposedly made us in his image?
Because it includes free will, the ability to self-determine in some aspects of character.
