What is Berean Apologetics?
We should explain what the term means so far as this board is concerned. Typically in our day a Berean is a dispensationalist. The primary dispensationalist denomination calls itself Berean or often times Berean Baptist which is indictive of an independant Baptist church that at least practices partial dispensationalism.
The Biblical Bereans, recorded in the book of Acts were Jewish intellectuals who understood scripture well enough to put Pauls claims about Jesus Christ to the test. In other words they knew their scripture and they knew Bible prophecy. They are credited with introducing apologetics to Christian theology which led to their conversion.
I have some experience with a dispensationalist church, its an influence in a way and I sometimes call myself a Berean as a tip of my hat to them.
I like the sound of Berean Apologetics, any dispensationalist would be partial to it. It suggests a strong form of apologetics which is what dispensationalists believe they have. I dunno that this was the intent here, probably isnt so I believe some clarification is in order.
No one has a copyright on the term Berean apologetics so I would be for keeping it, but I believe it will attract dispensationalists to this forum.

I dunno that this was the intent here, probably isnt so I believe some clarification is in order. No one has a copyright on the term Berean apologetics so I would be for keeping it, but I believe it will attract dispensationalists to this forum. Although I lean towards dispensationalism it had nothing to do with the name of the forum, Below are the reasons. Acts 17:11
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. 1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron, So one person sharpens another. Ephesians 4:11-12
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. John 13:35
By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another Berean Apologetics Ministry ( B.A.M. )Membership Statement under the Rules Section : "Members of Berean Apologetic forum are considerate, motivated by love and not hate, and they respect one another. Because our members are considerate, loving, and respectful, they do not make overly provocative posts, posts which seek to annoy or cause disruption, or posts which personally attack other members out of anger and frustration.
Our members desire to contribute in a positive and loving manner so that this Forum will display the gracious love of God. The above motto on our forum is for the benefit of this community to have a safe place where all faiths and people are welcomed to ask questions, receive answers and express their views freely without hinderance or concern of retaliation. We value your religious freedoms of expression and ideas. "Summary- In the essentials unity, in the non-essentials charity and in all things liberty. As believers who search the scriptures like good Bereans we confirm if what is being taught is true. We provide answers to those who ask about our faith and doctrines we believe with love, respect and gentleness. God has provided us with gifted pastors and teachers here at B.A.M to build up the body until we all grow up in unity of faith. When we ask questions and receive answers, we practice the iron sharpening iron principle. And last but not least by loving and respecting each other we show what Jesus said- all men will know we are His disciples by your love for one another. The above is the condensed version for the purpose of this forum. I have been on different christian forums for the past 20 years and know what I like and do not like from each of them and wanted to create a different environment for believers to discuss theology with other believers. And everyone that has been invited to participate I know from those above mentioned forums. So I thought you would enjoy a forum with these principles as its foundation and its purpose. hope this helps !!!

The scriptures' talk about the noble Bereans and got thinking about it. What a legacy they left for themselves for all future time even in the next world where they can say they were a Berean. Seems like a wonderful thing to have on your consciousness that you handled the word of God in sincerity and truth not trying to willfully hang on to falsehoods. It's a good appeal to make to everyone as in, "Come on now! Lets seek to have a Berean way of thinking and be willing to set aside all pride" It should always be what we strive to be and be honest with even ourselves.

the berean topic is a mistake esau provided in his corrupt versions... for the topic is not about jewish as in a race upon this earth. the only He cares about are His Souls.... (the rest here he did not create!)
so, whoever of those in that judean town listened, were souls of eden... listening... and the rest is not a concern.
