True there's no way they can say such displays his LOVE. And about the line, "He alone does EVERYTHING" What possible pleasure could that give him? And looking to one thing about the sadness or grief God can feel. The Bible says, God was grieved with humanity at the time of Noah. Gen 6:6 Also we know the Holy Spirit can be grieved. Eph 4:30 How can one possibly envision such would be possible IF God controls everything??? Aren't we exhorted if we've grieved the Spirit to stop it immediately? Aren't we wanting and desiring to bring him pleasure? Which would mean God has no pleasure being grieved and we shouldn't have to have anyone even to tell us that, as it's basic rational thinking, so that's the question are we going to have basic rational thinking in our lives or not?
