The Bible contains truths that are buried like a treasure that has been hidden from sight.
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love,
so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding,
in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,
in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2:2-3
John 1:1 = We see that He is the Word of God. And?
In whom are hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
What is hidden in Genesis 6:1-2 that took place before Noah's flood?
It says that angels were having mutant children with human woman.
Some disagree. Others knowing the Hebrew, are forced to that conclusion.
But, there is a question that seems never to be asked.
Why were those angels able to procreate? Why?
What went wrong that left the angels without God providing for them their own female counterpart like God had for Adam?
grace and peace ........

genezI found this But I don't know how reliable the information is. Some scholars believe that some people have Amalekites' "giants" background because of the sons of God married the daughter of men. However, this theory is not accurate because it is an error through modifications in the Torah. The falling angels can't have sex with people because they are spirits. The bibles' authors always blame the bad and evil things on the Canaanites. Actually, the Torah was written to disgrace Cain and the Canaanites. The scripture reads: The sons of God seeing the daughters of men, that they were fair, took themselves wives of all which they chose. 3 And God said: My Spirit shall not remain in man forever, because he is flesh, and his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. 4 Now, giants were upon the earth in those days. For after the sons of God went in (slept) with the daughters of men and they brought forth children; these are the mighty men that their names were renown from the old time, Genesis 6:1 to 4. Before the sons of God mingled with the sons of men they lived 7 to 8 hundred years old during Noah's era. Therefore, human age is shortened to 120 years old. The sons of God are Adam's seed, Genesis 5:1 to 32, and the daughters or the sons of men are Cain's race, Genesis 4:17 to 24. We don't know why the bible names them the daughters of men instead the sons of men. It shows that the children of men were females only. Biblically the daughters of men are of Cain's race because it was the only race beside the sons of men during that era. The bible disgraces Ishmael and Esau through Cain's race. For more information, refer to page "Ishmael and Isaac." Interesting topic so I'll keep digging.

Here's a breakdown of three of the most common views
Scholars debate and disagree over the meaning of the obscure reference to "the sons of God" in Genesis 6:1-4. Some people read into these verses the idea that it refers to angelic beings marrying women and producing a race of giants. Christ explained that is impossible, teaching that angels are neither male nor female (Luke 20:34-36)—that is, they are incapable of reproduction.
Humans are clearly the subject in Genesis 6—not angels. God said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh" (verse 3, emphasis added throughout) and, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth" (verse 7). If angels were capable of reproducing as mankind does, their offspring would be spirit, according to the principle of "according to its kind" portrayed in Genesis 1.
The Bible labels the offspring of these marriages "giants" (Genesis 6:4), meaning simply people of giant stature. Similar people are spoken of in later times, most notably Goliath and his family.
How, then, can we understand Genesis 6:1-4? Human beings are also sons of God. We're not referring to becoming spiritual sons of God through conversion, but to the fact that all people are sons of God by creation (Luke 3:38). The attitudes and actions of these "sons of God" were so wrong that they provoked God to send the Flood

I’m on the side that all creation can only procreate with its own kind so they were not created angels in the passage . hope this helps !!!

The Hebrew plainly states that they took and seized passionately the women they chose for themselves. And, please show me anywhere in the Bible that unbelievers have reproduced with believers and suddenly giants appeared as a result?

I am going to tell you what some of you are resisting learning about. Its about the root cause for drag queens and homosexuality found now in men today. But, if you want to take this doctrinal issue in such a blase light manner? I will have to take the insight elsewhere. For now, here is one clue. If Adam rebelled against God before finishing the work given him of naming all the animals?
And, refused to repent (like Satan and his angels did in their fall)? God would not have blessed Adam with his woman. That blessing would have been called off. If it had happened with Adam that way? After judgment, Adam would still be able to procreate as a sign of missed blessings. That is what happened with the angels. For, Satan's rebellion and his angels put that kind of blessings away from them.
They were going to receive a female counterpart as blessing for their faithfulness. Now those angels without God's grace for celibacy have uncontrollable desire that can not be satisfied.
But, if we wish to continue with this topic as if it were a cocktail hour conversation piece? I will have to take what I have found elsewhere.
People have to be ready for it.

genezI can only speak for myself and I'm not resisting learning anything that's why I posted in this thread. Please feel free to defend your position stated in your OP And I'll be glad to study it out. I don't believe civic or myself Took your position on this topic in a blasé light manner. We were both happy that were able to talk about it in a civilized manner. You stated as your goal in the OP: My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Let's get back to doing that.

Mighty Ones of God Emphasizing their power, angels are even called “gods” and “sons of God” and “sons of the mighty.” Just as their holiness does, their might points back to God. The King James Version of Psalm 89:6 captures this well: “Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?” Angels are mighty, but their might is nothing compared with God’s. The angels must surely follow with gladness what David says to them:
Ascribe to the Lord, O mighty ones, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. (Psalm 29:1)
Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. (Psalm 103:20)
In Psalm 8:5, where David says that man was made only “a little lower than the heavenly beings,” the Hebrew word for these beings is actually the word elohim or “gods.” We see their exalted power but also their reflection of God’s glory.

A New Testament perspective on homosexuality is anchored in the Old Testament and Jewish tradition. The indispensable framework for interpreting the NT teaching on homosexuality is Genesis 1–2, the creation narrative. We read in Genesis 1:26–27 that God made man in his own image, but the image of God is reflected in two distinct genders, male and female. The distinction between man and woman is underlined in the fuller account of their creation in Genesis 2:18–25. The physical differentiation of the man and the woman, and yet the amazing complementarity of such for bearing children indicates that marriage consists of the union of one woman and one man. The creation narrative, then, functions as the paradigm for males and females, and how they are to relate to one another sexually. The two different genders signify that marriage and sexual relations are restricted to the opposite sex, and that same sex relations are contrary to the created order.
As we read the rest of the OT, we see that the OT consistently proscribes homosexual behaviour. In Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 same sex relations are banned in general. The severity of the sin is such that the death penalty is mandated for homosexual activity. Some claim that the text only speaks against cult prostitution here, but in these two verses in Leviticus there is no reference to cultic activity, and homosexual relations are banned in broad terms. We see no hint that only certain kinds of homosexual activity are prohibited. The OT, of course, also indicts cultic prostitution that is homosexual in nature, but such commands do not suggest that there are same sex relationships that are permissible or even laudable. Rather, the negative view of homosexuality relative to cultic prostitution fits with the claim that homosexuality in general is contrary to God’s created order.
The story of Sodom and Gomorrah blends nicely into this same pattern. It will not do to say that the sin in view is not homosexuality since the visitors were angels, for the angels appeared on earth as men. Others claim that the sin is not homosexuality per se, but homosexual rape, and hence the text does not speak to loving monogamous homosexual relationships. It is probably the case that on its own this text cannot be pressed to yield a comprehensive indictment of homosexuality. Given the fabric of OT revelation as a whole, however, the homosexual dimension of the sin, and not exclusively the attempted homosexual rape, testifies to the egregiousness of the evil in view. Indeed, Jude 7 confirms this interpretation, for Sodom and Gomorrah are described as ‘departing after other flesh’. Jude does not concentrate on the attempted homosexual rape but the desire to engage in sexual relations with those of the same sex, and the letter identifies such as an evil deserving God’s judgement.
We should also note that second temple Jewish literature consistently and unanimously speaks against homosexual practices. We read in the Testament of Naphtali, ‘But you, my children, shall not be like that discern the Lord who made all things, so that you do not become like Sodom, which departed from the order of nature’ (T. Naph. 3.4). We read in Psuedo-Phocylides, ‘Do not transgress with unlawful sex the limits set by nature. For even animals are not pleased by intercourse of male with male. And let women not imitate the sexual role of men’ (Psuedo-Phocylides 190–92; cf. 3, 210–14). Both Josephus and Philo condemned homosexuality, and they contended that it was contrary to nature.

I have a hard time with this matter at times because there are some that do not believe in the prehistoric creation that was judged, destroyed, and replaced with our current world.
A prehistoric world that God had angels having dominion over, just as Adam was to have dominion over our current creation.
Just as Adam was assigned by God a work of naming all the animals, there was something the angels were assigned to in their prehistoric world that gave rise to Satan's rebellion against the authority of the Lord.
Because of the unrepentant rebellion of many angels? God called off the crowing glory of providing a woman for blessing each of them........
When Adam was created, and his woman was finally made known for all to see? The fallen angels suddenly realized that they were not as smart as they thought they had been for thinking they were self sufficient to the point of not needing God over them. The revelation of the beautiful women of mankind was a CRUSHING blow to their arrogance. Which had been of self importance and ultra self sufficiency.
Again.... God supplied grace for celibacy for the faithful angels as to not have them suffer the anguish to see what they had been denied when beautiful women were revealed on earth. But, God left the fallen angels without grace which they denied needing. To be engulfed in emotional pain because of their desire to follow Satan's delusions and lies.
Its why we see marriage under attack in such an evil and hateful way in our day. When there is a truly happy marriage? Demons are enraged to be reminded what they lost out on for choosing to reject the Lord and His provision for all their needs.

The Angels you're talking about went against God's plan and instigated their own plan. Sounds like idolatry to me. The most important text regarding homosexuality in the NT is Romans 1:26–27. We learn from this text and the surrounding context that all sin, including homosexuality, is a consequence of idolatry. The fundamental and root sin, therefore, is not homosexuality or any other erroneous behaviour. The sin that provokes God’s wrath and leads to all other sin is the worship of the creature rather than the creator (Rom. 1:25). It is the failure to give thanks and praise to the one true and living God (Rom. 1:21). It is important to emphasize here that homosexual sin is not singled out because homosexuals are particularly egregious sinners. Sin is an equal opportunity and democratic employer! All human beings have failed to glorify and thank God the way they should. Paul probably focuses on homosexuality at this point because it mirrors idolatry. In other words, both idolatry and same sex relations distort what human beings were made to do. That is, all human beings turn the world upside down by worshipping self rather than God. And same sex relations invert what God has intended, so that human beings opt for same sex intercourse instead of engaging in sexual intercourse with the opposite sex. The reason homosexuality is proscribed here is that it is contrary to nature (para physin). The reference to ‘nature’ indicates that Paul refers back to the creation account, to what God intended when he created men and women. Paul’s use of the relatively unusual words thelys for females and arsen for males suggests that he draws on the creation account of Genesis (Gen. 1:27, LXX) where the same two words are used. The terms call attention to the sexual distinctiveness of males and females, suggesting that same sex relations violate God’s creational intent. Further, the phrase ‘contrary to nature’ echoes Stoic and Hellenistic Jewish traditions, which saw homosexual relations as a violation of the created order. Thomas R. Schreiner

Please keep in mind. The men spoken of in Romans One were heterosexuals prior to their rejection of what God showed them which was made plain to them.
They created lies to suppress the truth that God had instilled in them.
Instead they were drawn to the influence of the demons of the cosmos that rules over men. They ended up preferring the lies over the truth. So? It says that God gave them over to the desires of their hearts. Hence.. God removed all restraint and handed them over to the demonic realm.
The result was? These men became transformed into what they worshiped. They became like the fallen angels had become after seeing what they were missing when God put on display man and women making love. These evil men in Romans One who were given over to the fallen angels turned into flaming homosexuals. They became transformed into what they adored... Which as punishment from God resulted in self hatred that they must now deny in their delusional thinking.
"Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such
things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things
but also approve of those who practice them." Romans 1:32
Not to mention.... Verses 28-31, read like a personality profile for the corrupt mainstream media we have today!
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the
knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so
that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled
with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are
full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice.
They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful;
they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no
understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy."
Lying and delusion is a way of life for them.
For their life is a delusional lie.
grace and peace.....

What is not thought through and understood by many today?
The fallen angels were caught in a highly frustrating dilemma. A humiliating one.
They had uncontrollable desires. For they were alienated from God's grace. God's angels are comforted and strengthened by God's grace.
As witnessed to in Genesis 6, the fallen LONGED for women. Women that they were not allowed to touch after Noah's flood.
Since they live in delusion and ego mania.... and in unfathomable pride, they are hyper sensitive to any criticism of what losers they are. They refuse to admit their loss because of following Satan's promises.
Instead, to prove that they do not need God? And, will always be proven self sufficient without God's provisions?
Certain of the fallen angels found themselves enthralled with the female human. They adored them so much that they took note and studied their actions and mannerisms... So much so? That some acted them out out of admiration. Then, one thing led to another. Some began dressing and moving like the women they adored. The first drag queens were fallen angels!
The other fallen angels took notice of the counterfeit females among their number. They agreed to play make believe and form their own relationships to show God that they did not need His provision, that they will make what they need for themselves.
Its all denial after denial. Homosexuals and lesbians are the fallen angel's proving ground, and with them the fallen angels want to inspire the gay community to show the world that they are just as happy and well off as normal people...
It will end when the Lord returns. Until then? A little insight will help stabilize doctrinal believers who must endure the insanity while it is allowed to continue.
