The word is ....... Apostasia. " Falling away" holds several different potential meanings. Could mean, 'apostasy.' Could mean 'falling away.' And! Another legit translation would be... The 'departure.'God holds and gives the answers. The devil only plants the doubts. grace and peace ........ When the connected scripture and context are considered "departure" fails as a reasonable transliteration of the word unless you mean a departure from practising Christianity which is no diff than falling away. I`m tempted but not going to engage you at this time. Take care.

Since when is there a rescue after the damage is done? I appriciate your interest in this topic but I`m probably going to take a break from this place for awhile. Anyway my response would be that the first resurrection isn`t a rescue. Raincheck on this. I'm a pretrib, premil believer but I'm just not dogmatic about it and its one of those non essentials IMHO. In the essentials unity, in the non essential liberty and in all things charity. That is my motto I try and follow. hope this helps !!! |

Do you really believe that the Rapture is not a rescue for the church from what is about to take place on the earth? That its not a rescue?
Do you believe there will be a rapture?

If I didn`t believe it then I would be liar. Sorry to learn your opinion of me is that low. With that in mind let me make a statement. The pre trib theory is a very clever doctrine of devils that will most likely destroy the faith of millions at the appointed hour. It is a fairly modern doctrine of the Laodician church. Guess where they live. |

The pre trib theory is a very clever doctrine of devils that will most likely destroy the faith of millions at the appointed hour. It is a fairly modern doctrine of the Laodician church. Guess where they live. If you are willing to PM me and give me your email? I will email you a recorded teaching by a pastor who was a Greek and Hebrew scholar.. The message was presented before his congregation a good number of years ago, at a time that pastors from all over were ordering his messages for their own personal study. .. Billy Graham asked him to be his private mentor, but the pastor was too busy teaching his congregation six nights a week. He was always studying and teaching. Its not as simple as many want to make it while folding their arms. Within the Bible there are other passages that contain the same Greek wording, and those reveal meanings that were lost by some translators. If interested? It will cost you nothing. I heard them. They mentioned the Greek words without in depth exegesis.
You did not hear what I was to offer. Yet? You already know.
And, what you claimed was news to me. Maybe I need to listen to the audio backwards to get what you claimed?

You can easily open up an alternative email account for your privacy. I have such an email account to keep myself anonymous when it is called for.

The smart alec comments do not impress me. My choice to not disclose my email should be respected and if you posted a source I would look at your video even though my expectation would be low. I am far removed from being close minded. I`ve studied end time theology since 1979 so my expectation that you are not likely to have anything new to show me is pretty reasonable. My op is not an invitation to teach me how to read Greek. More importantly you should be a lot more careful about telling people what the Lord will do. I don`t believe you are able to predict that. |
