"control everything"? ...as opposed to the person who believes he is entitled to ignore the forum's structures, post anything anywhere at any time regardless of those already existing structures, doesn't need to answer questions about his doing so when asked, then judge those who ask about that, while deliberately violating rules 1b and 1c of the forum's tou? Wouldn't it be healthier to either directly answer the question asked (maybe there's a good reason), or simply ask the mods to move the thread? |

It`s a common way to refer to one of the rapture theories. The great debate on the timing of what people often call the rapture is easily resolved by good apologetics so it is a good topic to explore in this particular forum especially since there seems to be a lot of pretribbers around here. I`m always interested in hearing their rational for their beliefs which imo do not hold up well when tested by apologetics. |

Because all I did was ask a simple question. Why isn't this op in the Eschatology board? The perception I am trying to control anything is misguided. You are free to post this wherever you want and nothing I posted should have been construed as an attempt to control anyone or anything. That is ALL on you. I happen to agree with this op. I think pre-tribulationalism is completely unscriptural and scripturally indefensible. I also think that discussion belongs in the board designated for that purpose but maybe you have a reason for doing otherwise. So do please go right ahead and ask the mods to tell me I'm not the forum foreman. |

I appriciate your interest in this topic but I`m probably going to take a break from this place for awhile. Anyway my response would be that the first resurrection isn`t a rescue. When the connected scripture and context are considered "departure" fails as a reasonable transliteration of the word unless you mean a departure from practising Christianity which is no diff than falling away.
