Paul was given that authority by Jesus, Paul said your saved by his Gospel you will be judged by his Gospel that Jesus Gave to him, If you have Paul's Gospel wrong you hold the gospel in error Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures It goes on but most are stuck at on 3 and don't believe it so cant even see the rest then go around thinking they are declaring all the counsel of God, if anyone preach any other Gospel they are cursed, still under the law still under the curse, dead in there sins, they can try and pretend you are working off your sin, but you cant, only Jesus blood can take away sin The gospel, the good news, includes the death, burial and resurrection of Christ but Paul also preached other things. Paul's gospel includes other things as acceptable/unacceptable worship to God, (Col 2:23) issues about marriage divorce and remarriage (1 Cor 7:39; Rom 7:1-4) If one is living in adultery and impenitently continues to live in adultery then the good news of the death burial and resurrection of Christ cannot save him. One must live according to all the doctrine of Christ, not just some of Christ's doctrine. Indeed, Paul taught MANY things, but for **SALVATION** it was 1Cor15 :1-4......and THAT only.....ADD to it with ANYTHING and you “ Fall From Grace” and you are “ Severed from Christ”..... read Galatians and then tell me where I am mistaken....All the positive things that you mention are to be done AFTER you are Saved......you must get first things first——Don’t Confuse Salvation with Sanctification.... |

Salvation is a Gift....You essentially say we EARN it by our ability to live a “ clean” life...Sin in the Believers life us punished....Salvation is never a question—— not even for the guy that slept with hisStepmother.....

Jesus went to the Cross as a “ ONE TIME SACRIFICE” in order to PAY THE PRICE for ALL the Sins Of Mankind.......It’s the biggest bargain and the Best GOOD NEWS for Anybody that will simply “ Turn to Him”........ Jesus gets our Sins and “We” get His IMPUTED Righteousness ....Where else in this Universe are ya gonna get a deal like that! ......All the Work for our Salvation was accomplished by His FINISHED Work at the Cross.....
Yes, Jesus paid it ALL......Everything Is done.....All that we have to do is to “ Cash-In” on what has already been accomplished “ For” us.....How does a poor, Lost Sinner “ Cash - In?. ........Faith ......Faith in Paul’s Gospel ( Given to Paul personally by Jesus)...... The Instant That One Believes That Gospel , God will put His Holy Spirit in you and if that Holy Spirit is allowed to hang around long enough, the New Heart That God Put In you will Transform your Wants and Desires so that they will line up with God’s ......you will “ Find Yourself” Living a life that pleases God as he Transforms “ The Inside Of The Cup”........
All of these great things are a RESULT of Salvation—— NOT the Cause Of it.....God’s Task Of “ Transforming you into the Image Of His Son” can take time and may not be obvious to all the self- Righteous , Judgmental eyes of nosy Legalists who should be minding their “ own” business....” THEY” themselves are much bigger Sinners than they realize 90% of the time.....

You've bought into a strange and convoluted gospel, that effectively replaces righteousness with faith instead of understanding that faith is the doorway to authentic righteoueness as it's the doorway to its Source. Jesus did absolutely nothing about sin and the death it earns-along with the ugliness, injustice, and harm it results in-if all He did was accomplish forgiveness of sin, essential as that forgiveness is. You've simply chosen to overlook and ignore the part of the gospel that addresses our yoke, our part. It's an easy yoke, a light burden, and yet over and over again our responsibility for what we must do, in response to the grace and love given, is spelled out in Scripture-with more expected of those given more. And that's all for our own greatest and highest good becaue God's purpose in all this is to produce something, not just produce forgiven while otherwise worthless sinners, but to produce something truly noble and good, something like Himself, something that chooses rightly with the patient help and guidance that He began in His creation, in humankind already centuries ago, and that culminated with the advent of His Son. |

You've simply chosen to overlook and ignore the part of the gospel that addresses our yoke, our part.
The Gospel has no “ our part” —- other than to BELIEVE it.......The Gospel That Saves is a Gift .....The True Gospel is All about what God has done for Lost, hopeless and spiritually “ dead” sinners.....It’s NOT about what man does for God.....Our “ part” in Salvation is to receive a free gift.....the gratitude and love for what Jesus accomplished FOR us at the Cross, is the impetus for Living a Life that pleases God....The Gospel Found In 1 Cor15:1-4 is the Good News That If you Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rise from the grave—you will be Saved.....that and Nothing else as far as Salvation is concerned........Jesus said that “My yoke is easy”....it comes AFTER the “ Free Gift” Of Salvation.....Don’t Confuse Salvation with Sanctification....

What are the BIG things in the Bible we must accept as Christians?
Note: This is not meant to be an exhaustive set of lists.
They are lists that describe important things we believers must accept.
Also, keep in mind that these lists are ever under construction (as God gives more knowledge to me).
To be initially saved, we must believe:
In the Gospel (Which is believing that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was risen three days later according to the Scriptures for our salvation).
God as revealed in the Bible is the one and only true God.
The Bible is a holy book or it is the very words of God.
Truths in the Bible that when revealed to us, we must believe in them:
In other words, if we have the capability and time to study the Bible in this life, and be guided by the Spirit, we must in time believe:
In the Trinity (i.e. God exists as three distinct persons and yet He is one God or being).
Jesus is GOD and uncreated.
The Incarnation (Jesus came into the flesh).
Jesus is fully GOD and man.
Jesus is the only mediator between GOD and man.
God is spirit.
In Worshiping GOD in spirit and in truth.
In the Bible Alone (as our sole authority) + In the Anointing to Understand it.
In being born again by the Spirit.
In being born again by water (Scripture).
God is love (God is the source of all true love; We seek and hold tightly to His love with our entire being).
God is good (He is the source of all good; Man may be able to imitate good, but God holds the true way of good that we must abide within. His judgments, actions, and commands are based on Moral principles that are good).
In the rapture or taking up.
In the bodily resurrection.
In Original Sin (Meaning: All of mankind has sinned against God and he has been corrupted by sin (via by Adam's sin) whereby it necessitates the need for a Savior to solve our diseased state of sinfulness).
In Christ's Imputation or Substitutionary Atonement. (Jesus died in our place for our sins when we exercise proper and true faith).
God has a greater plan for good that we cannot see (all things work together for good to those who love God).
In man's responsibility to answer God's call to grace (forgiveness through Jesus and in believing the gospel), and God's call to enter the Sanctification Process (living holy by God's power) as a part of God's plan of salvation.
God is holy (God is separate from the creation. God is pure, and clean, and there is no darkness in God. He is distinct. God has alway existed, and He is all powerful. God is worthy to be worshiped because of his holiness and uniqueness in being God, the creator and the Savior, and above all things).
In trusting in the sufficiency of God (God is really all I need above anything else).
God is a rewarder to those who seek Him.
There is a heaven, hell, judgment, and a new earth.
There is a devil and his minions who have many deceptions in an attempt to destroy us (Note: Scripture says we are not to be ignorant of his devices).
We are in a spiritual battle, and not a physical one.
We are under a New Covenant (by Christ's death) with new commands (that come from the New Testament, and we do not attempt to justify ourselves by obeying the whole of the 613 laws of the Old Testament Law of Moses (Important Note: While the Moral Laws have carried over: Like do not murder, do not steal, do not covet, etc., the ceremonial laws like circumcision, sabbaths, and dietary laws have not carried over; Neither have any of the judicial laws carried over, either (like capital punishment laws in stoning).
Only past sin is forgiven us. Future sin is not forgiven us; All sin must be confessed and forsaken in order to have mercy.
Christ's Blood Atonement; For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin.
Commands in the Bible that when revealed to us, we must obey them:
In other words, if we have the capability and time to study the Bible in this life, and be guided by the Spirit, we must in time obey:
In denying ourselves, and in surrendering our lives to the Lord to follow Him.
In loving God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength.
In loving our neighbor (Helping the poor).
In loving the brethren (Feeding the sheep & providing for them).
In loving our enemies (Doing good towards them and in praying for them, not returning evil for evil, making peace with all men).
In preaching or spreading the gospel.
In studying God's Word to show ourselves approved of unto God.
By praying to GOD.
By praising GOD.
By giving thanks unto GOD.
God's command to hold fast the profession of our faith in Jesus as our Savior and His grace;
In Confessing our sins to Jesus if we happen to stumble into sin on rare occasion.
God's commands in the New Testament (and or in living holy) as per the Sanctification Process by the power of the Lord.
In walking by faith in God's Word, and not by sight.
In doing all things to the glory of God.
In doing all things in love.
In not adding or taking away from God's Word (the Bible).
In being separate from the world and its ways.
In not loving money, and refusing to chase after the riches of this world.
In not being ashamed of Christ and or if we are persecuted.
In forgiving everyone.

So what do you do about Promises from God that declare that “ HE will Finish the work that HE started” or the Promise That “ HE will make you Strong until the end so that on the Day Of Judgement, HE will declare you Blameless before the Lord”.....
A Saved Believer can suffer and experience a loss of blessings or even Chastisement in His Earthly existence and can squander Heavenly Rewards, But “ Anybody that ASKS to be Saved WILL be Saved”.......if you are Trusting in the Finished Work Of The Cross to Save you, your Salvation is guaranteed.....

The will of man is never totally overridden such that he becomes a puppet; God wants our participation, our ownership, our acceptance of the gift given, for our own highest good. So while we’re encouraged by the knowledge that He’ll always do His part, we’re also warned that we must do ours, to remain in Him, to make every effort to be holy, to be vigilant, to put to death the deeds of the flesh by the Spirit, etc. We must pick up our cross daily and follow. |

No you missed the point, you must be born again then you can talk about discipleship and sanctification but if you do not have Gods spirit you are not his Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. So you need to start there, There is one thing you haven't mentioned and its the Blood of Jesus takes away all sin, You have to be in the Light and Jesus is the Light |

Its nice to see that I am not alone in sticking up for Paul’s Gospel ......I’ve been doing it for years.....There’s no better way to get kicked out of “ christian” Site....I’ve been kicked out of two or three.......Isn't that Strange? I don’t think anything like that will occur here..... Regardless, keep up the good work.....it’s like I have a Twin! Lol.... Like a Brothers from another mother, Do you really like motorcycles and crash them and love golf but are really bad at it, if so I think we are The Gospel Given to Paul by Jesus that unless you think your a jew you have to be saved under his (Pauls) Gospel, I don't know about you but my history isn't the clear enough nor would I be stupid enough to think I was a jew and should follow say Peters Message, maybe my parents did......maybe I could claim jewishness from certain evidence and follow Peters message that is not for us today, might end up a catholic or a gentile trying to follow the law, don't you find it interesting that the more you teach Paul's message the more it makes a lot of people annoyed, almost like the cross is offensive to them, I think the cross threatens them because they have to admit there a sinner and can only saved by Grace without any works you can add Yea unfortunately we "Know" each other from other sites, I have put up with for a few years, you taught me a quite a lot over the years like patience.....lol , how to maul poodles and your very good at archery.... like shooting fish in barrels, The worst thing is my wife thinks your funny.
